🚨 Clicks ads again and again, never buys

Rules to catch clicks that waste your ad money. But to be honest: this counts clicks from one browser.

Clicks ads again and again, never buys — Visitors screenshot
🔍 Click the image to enlarge · the red numbers match the explanations below
  1. 1
Know this first If someone clears their browser, uses private mode or opens the link inside the Facebook app, the count starts again from one — so click farms aren’t caught here. Someone who really comes 15 times is usually a genuine buyer who’s still thinking. That’s why by default it only flags them. The real way to save ad money is to export the list and build an exclusion audience in Ads Manager.
  2. 2
How many paid clicks Flag after this many ad clicks without an order (e.g. 15).
  3. 3
Within how many days Over what period (e.g. 7 days).
  4. 4
Untagged Facebook clicks Facebook adds fbclid to every link — ad or normal post. When on, every Facebook click counts as paid (use this if nearly all your traffic comes from ads). When off, only links with utm or a campaign id count.
  5. 5
When the limit is crossedFlag them for me to look at (you decide after looking) or Block them automatically.
💡 Tip: Start with Flag only. After a week, look at the “Costing you money” list and you’ll know whether auto-block is right for your shop.
